Blower Door Testing
Technically referred to as infiltration testing, blower door testing measures how "tight" or "leaky" a building enclosure is. We use a large, calibrated fan to depressurize a building enclosure to a known pressure and measure the rate of air leakage.Duct Testing
Duct Leakage Testing is exactly as its name implies. We measure how well sealed a duct system is by covering all termination points and pressurizing the duct system to a known pressure and measure the rate of air leakage from the system.

We provide required testing services as well as consultation, so you can rest easy knowing you can get that Certificate of Occupancy on time.Patriot Performance Contracting is a new company in 2026 owned and operated by Justin Berendes. Justin is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Starting at a young age working for his father's company, he gained experience in remodeling as well as new construction. When it was time for a change, he transitioned into the HVAC field working as a technician and installer for Gem Plumbing and Heating. In 2019 Justin joined the amazing team at Meridian Custom Homes as a construction project manager where he is still employed today. For the past 7 years at Meridian he has consistently added to his knowledge base and has helped the company stay ahead of the curve when it comes to new codes and requirements. Working closely with his HERS rater, and friend, in his capacity as a project manager, he saw an opportunity and pursued certification with the Building Performance Institute. As of September 2024 Justin holds an active BPI Certificate for Infiltration and Duct Leakage Testing.
